June 07 - Mid October 07

Well, again I've been slacking - ignoring my blog. When I first started blogging, I promise myself that I would document what my family & I have been doing faithfully at least once a month. So, I lied.

This is going to be a long... but a lazy one.

A lot has been happening these past few months.

Phuket Club Med (2 June - 9 June 2007)

Entrance - Club Med, Phuket Nice Deco

Mummy's favourite hangout place in the entire village

Jamie & Mark having a go at the trapeze. Jamie was screaming her head off - which was quite funny.

A village with a beautiful view of the sea

As usual, apart from hanging out with mummy at the bar, vegging out is what Daddy does best

Yes, we spent 8 days there and it cost Daddy a bomb! But we had fun and met with a lot of good friends from all our previous Club Med trips. We still couldn't’t get enough and I don’t know when the Club Med bug is going to crawl up to us again.

Birthdays – Don’t understand why there are so many year end babies. Damm “poke-kai” during year end.

August Babies

Kim, Daddy, Jason and Rachel’s birthday. Happy Birthday, y'all.

Had dinner at a restaurant somewhere in Jalan Ipoh. Nice place. Did not take any pictures so, nothing to show la.

Daddy’s Birthday (again)

We celebrated Daddy’s birthday 3 times – once with the August babies, once on our own in Jake’s and once with the Rodwells at Tony Romas.

Jane’s Birthday (13 September)

We celebrated Jane’s birthday on the 16 September. We had steamboat dinner and it was quite fun. Didn’t take any pictures but believe me – this sis of mine, does not look her age at all. We sang, “Happy Birthday” in all three languages – Chinese, Bahasa and English – quite funny, that one – I think we manage to embarrass the hell out of my sister :-)

Mom’s Birthday (25 September)

Mom & her best friend, Angie Ma-ma

Celebrated Mom’s birthday at a karaoke, somewhere in Old Klang Road. It is actually an "old folks" kinda place and very “ching-chong” but everyone had fun. Everyone was singing – even good ole Daddy! After that, we adjourned to El Cerdo a porky place restaurant. Quite an interesting restaurant – they serve nothing but pork. Delicious.

People who attended mom's birthday

(Uncle) Richard Rodwell's Birthday (3rd October)

Celebrated at Tarbush, Starhill Gallery

Birthdays coming up:-
Bro-in-law – 18 October
Jamie – 25 October
Daphne – 8 November

Quota Club – Daddy’s done it again!

3rd year in a row! This time we were off to Sabah (26 September – 30 September). Stayed at Pacific Sutera Habour Resort. Nice place – KK. The islands are actually very beautiful and the sea water is extremely clear. It was not as grand this time round as compared to Australia but we (the parents) had a swell time (will tell you why later) and the kids too enjoyed the break.

Yes! We watched INXS- Live!
JD - The Real Thing
Kirk - so cool...(sigh!)
The seafood in Sabah is extremely good and very cheap compare to KL. We went to this seafood restaurant twice cos we can’t get enough of it.

Quota Club again next year, Daddy?

Jack got HITCHED!
Jack and Daphne registered their marriage on 10/10/07 - this is also the day our goverment spend loads of taxpayer's money sending some stupid idiot into space!!

Congratulations, Jack and Daphne. Welcome to the family, Daphne :-)

Till my next update – which I hope would be soon. God bless.
